What information do we collect?

To best provide you with our Products and Services, we collect two types of information about our Users: (a) personal information and (b) non-personally identifiable information, collectively referred to herein as “Information.” Our primary goal in collecting information from you is to provide you with a convenient, efficient and personalized experience.

A. Personal information (personal data) – refers to information that can be used to identify an individual. When you engage in certain activities related to our Products and Services, such as registering for a membership, ordering a product or service, submitting content and/or posting content to discussion forums or other public areas, entering a contest or sweepstakes, completing a survey or submitting to us feedback, we may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by completing and submitting one or more online forms. You do not have to engage in this activity at all. Depending on the type of activity, some of the information we ask you to provide is mandatory and some is voluntary. If you do not provide required data in relation to certain activities, you will not be able to participate in those activities.

B. Non-personal information refers to information that does not allow the identification of a specific person. We collect such information about Users in several ways and analyze it on both an individual and an aggregate basis. This may include the Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) of the website you just came from, which URL you go to next, what browser you are using, and your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address. A URL is the global address of documents and other resources on the World Wide Web. An IP address is an identifier for a computer or device on a Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (“TCP/IP”) – World Wide Web network. Networks such as the Internet use the TCP/IP protocol to route information based on the destination’s IP address. In other words, an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer every time you browse the web, allowing web servers to find and identify your computer. Computers require IP addresses so that users can communicate on the Internet. This information may also include location data transmitted through your mobile device, GPS or Wi-Fi signals.
